Connor Golsong surveyed the brightly lit carnival from his seat as the Super Shot rose high into the air.  With a silent gasp and a rush of red hair and freckles, the six-year-old Queens native whooshed safely back to earth.Connor and his family were typical of the thousands of guests at the 19th annual Long Island Festival in Huntington. The fair, which took place in Heckscher State Park, featured carnival rides, games, food, live music, wine tasting and hundreds of vendors densely packed throughout the sprawling park.
